UE seeks a union representative to join our national staff for a higher education organizing assignment. UE is an independent member-run union with a nationwide membership and a proud history of progressive political action and aggressive struggle to improve workplace conditions. Under direction of an experienced lead organizer or staff coordinator, the successful applicant will find work on organizing campaigns, as well as work towards securing first contracts in newly organized workplaces.

The salary for this position is $74,856.54 per year. Irregular hours, travel, and weekend work are an essential part of the job. Benefits include excellent health care and retirement benefits and a substantial car allowance (must have own car for travel).
