Job Description

Primary Job Functions Supervises and monitors access system, intrusion/fire alarms, emergency phones and CCTV system Manages all incoming telephone communications from complex Responsible for communicating emergency information to DC Security Operations Maintains an activity log documenting all information relevant to tasks performed Reviews all shift paperwork for completeness and accuracy, also responsible for the proper filing of all shift paperwork Maintains records, and creates access related to the complex card access system Conducts maintenance audits of security equipment i.e., CCTV, alarm systems etc Assist with Security Investigations and provide detailed information to DC Management regarding card access and CCTV video. Documents all Loss Prevention activities at the gates/lobbies as required by established Loss Prevention procedures Completes incident reports to document Security Loss Prevention related issues. Forwards reports to Security management/Supervision for follow up. Responsible for emergency notification to Police and Fire departments, and dispatching security personnel for emergency response. Monitors Yard Management System (PINC) making needed adjustments Monitors and adjusts all inbound and outbound complex traffic, using Google Documents Performs other related duties as assigned Answer telephone calls, tactfully handle inquiries and transfer to appropriate party Technical Knowledge And Organizational Skills Customer Service experience required Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Security CCTV System Knowledge required Ability to work independently/ability to work through a situation in the absence of the Loss Prevention Supervisor Sound judgment in decision making and problem solving.
