What You'll Do As a Safety & Training Supervisor, you will partner closely with the Safety & Training Manager to support daily transportation operations and foster a safe, customer-focused work environment. Key responsibilities include: * Provide day-to-day supervision, support, and guidance to shuttle drivers. * Conduct on-road observations, ride-alongs, evaluations, and coaching sessions to improve driver performance and safety. * Assist with the development and delivery of driver training programs, workshops, and refresher courses. * Investigate operational concerns, incidents, customer complaints, and safety-related matters, developing effective solutions when needed. * Ensure compliance with company policies, client contract requirements, ADA regulations, and applicable state and federal transportation regulations. * Monitor on-time performance, route adherence, and service quality standards. * Promote a positive workplace culture through coaching, mentoring, recognition, and employee engagement initiatives. * Serve as a resource for drivers and operational staff, helping resolve challenges while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and customer service Requirements: What We're Looking For * Experience in transportation operations, safety, training, or supervision. * Experience developing and delivering employee training programs. * Strong coaching, mentoring, and performance management skills. * Knowledge of ADA regulations and passenger transportation best practices. * Working knowledge of applicable state and federal transportation safety regulations. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. * Ability to travel to our San Rafael headquarters approximately once per month. Preferred Qualifications * 1-3 years of experience within the transit or passenger transportation industry. * Experience working with public transit, paratransit, or contract transportation services. * Knowledge of service area operations and transportation contract requirements. * Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a transportation environment.
